Get some neutralising shampoo first, and wash with that.

Ash blonde is very light, so it looks grey, yes, that's a mistake people make, as the packets don't advertise the grey look.

Why not try a wash in wash out golden blonde ? If that works, then get a permanant golden blonde.

One thing.... Make sure you do the strand tests.... Nothing worse than going from wrong colour to no hair due to chemical reaction or green hair (it happens with blonde colours sometimes).

So long as you stick ti the same manufacturer you should be OK.

If I were you I would not put any more chemicals on it until it's had time to regenerate some natural oils. Use a henna or a semi permanent color a shade darker than you want.

hiya i'm a hairdresser...

to get rid of the blue rinse look on ur hair - u need to put the golden/yellow tones back into ur hair.

problem is with bleached hair - because bleach literally bleaches out all the colour pigment in the hair, when you put any sort of colour on it, b it temp, semi permanent, the bleach will soak up all the colour.

and ive had this problem b4, i had color correction on my hair (my hair was bleached several times to strip dark red dye outta my hair) and it went ginger, so i used a shampoo which puts ash tones bk into ur hair to neutrilise the orangeness...i left the shampoo on for 45 mins and my hair was grey. luckily i had a wella shampoo which leaves gold tones in ur hair and after several shampoos it worked.

so i suggest... got to a hair salon, see what they can do - they'll prob put another shade of blonde on ur hair with gold tones or they might bleach the ash tones out...dpends.

next time you bleach ur hair and it goes ginger...instead of using an ash toner @ home cos mistakes will happen, use a shampoo like Matrix So Silver Shampoo - it puts ash tones bk into ur hair and enchances blonde and grey hair whilst getting rid of any orangeness...follow the instructions and do not leave on for more than the recommended time on the packaging.

btw...with all this extra colouring uve been doing, dont 4 get to use a deep conditioning treatment on ur hair and use a leave in conditioner for extra moisture!

Run to the salon! Even though they sell this stuff like candy in the store, you ARE dealing with chemicals. You are now getting into different chemical reactions and what set of new chemicals is going to give you a different reaction. Do NOT try this yourself. You will be ssooooorryyyyyy.

id siggest going to a hair salon to sort it out, but ill give advice on how to stop this happening again;

most cartons have directions on what colour hair will the colour come out on,

for example blonde will go light brown

red it itll save u this hell next time
