you should maybe dye your hair lighter so the grey isnt as noticeable.

Sorry to tell you, but nothing that claims to dye grey hair really works. Go to a salon if you want it done right. Then you can continue to do it at home once you see a few greys, not 1/3.

You cannot be coloring you hair every two weeks, and expect to have hair for very long. I have been coloring my greys for 15 years now, and I know. Mine is healthy and shiny. Greys show through about 3rd week (new growth and fading, both). I color every 4th.

The reason that you have to redo your roots every two weeks is because your hair has grown that much in to weeks. Hair coloring is a continuing process. Normally you would have to get a touch up every two to four weeks depending on the color of natural and color used on hair.
