Hair Dye Question?

I'm a 21 year old male living in Hertfordshire,UK and I want to dye my hair black. The problem being is that all the hair dyes in the stores are designed for people with grey hair. I haven't got grey hair. Does anyone know where I can get any safe hairdye (online or in the London/Hertfordshire area)?

Are you only looking at products for men? Most hair dye for men is, as you point out, for greying hair.

There's no reason you can't use a product for "women" which should be plentiful.

note: I've used dye that "covers grey" many times though I don't have grey hair. Doesn't seem to really make a difference. May just be a bit stronger than product that doesn't.

Your better of starting fresh and bleaching your hair out and then dying it black but if you want to go from your natural color to black i would say you should go to a hairstylist they will know whats best and can give you better advice.

Loreal is not for grey. Not sure if you have that there or not. Are you sure the boxes aren't just saying they will cover grey.

Are you looking at men's hair dye? Most men only want to cover grey. If so look at women's hair dyes. Otherwise, go ahead and use the ones designed to cover grey, if it covers grey, it will cover your natural hair color.

You can get women's hair dye (it works on men's hair too!)

It's ok if you donn'y have grey hair and you want to use one of those products. They're designed for grey hair, but they still work on non grey hair.

You can dye your hair with the stuff for the gray hair, it makes no difference. I dyed my hair with the stuff designed for the gray it came out great!

The hair dye probably isn't designed specifically for people with grey hair, it just means it is capable of dying grey hair. I dye my hair, and use hair dye that says it will cover greys, and I don't have a single grey hair. The dye has never done anything weird on my hair.

hair dye 4 gray hair only means that it has a stronger deposit ,meaning it works better 2 insure full coverage,cuz grey hair can b resistant 2 color,the product is ok 2 use on regular hair,it will actually color ur hair better!
