Underarm hair!? help!?

i shave my armpits with a four blade razor and shaving cream but its still not close enough. my underarms get like grey. just the coloring is wierd and theres no hair or anything but it looks really bad and im imbarressed to lift up my arms when im wearing a cami or tank top. ive tried nair but it irritated my skin. i dont think ill be getting lazer hair removal anytime soon, so is there any at home waxing kits or remedies that can help? and my underarm hair grows back like really fast. if i shave in the morning, it already looks bad by evening. and sometimes i get rashes and itches and i hate it. help?!

The grey is normal - its the hair folicles under the skin. Everyone with dark hair and fair skin looks like that. The only way to improve it is to get a fake tan applied very very lightly to your armpits, or bleaching, but get a professional to do it.

Put some duck tape on your armpit and leave it there; then five minutes later rip it off. Beauty is pain.

well peoples hair grows at different rates, but i do know-using shaving cream makes your hair grow back faster, thats why i simply use soap and water. when you shower, simply put soap on your underarms and shave, it works just as good, and i only have to shave once a week, or sometimes, once in two weeks.

call your doctor and see what he thinks. Maybe it is hormones.

Shave your armpits in the direction of your hair growth so that you get a closer cut. I would recommend NOT using shaving cream under your arms. It prevents a closer cut on that part of your body. Try using some moisturizer under your pits after you shave. Let it dry before using deoderant. When you can, skip a few days of shaving (like in the winter) so you give your skin a rest and you won't get rashes. If you get rashes and bumps from shaving, I would not recommend waxing. And if you do lean toward waxing then get it done professionally. The at-home kits are a mess and more hassle than help.

try that cream..sort of like the kind that you put for getting hair off of you upper lip...that may work

I have the same problem, I don't know what to do about it either, most of the time my deodorant covers it up.

dermatologist

Underarm hair!? help!?

plug them out, it takes longer to grow, it will hurt at first but u get used to it.

Underarm hair!? help!?

Keep shaving carefully (in multiple directions) or get a professional wax. Also, at night, put on a lotion that helps inhibit hair growth - these take about three weeks of use to take effect, but they really work - will take care of a 5 o clock shadow in your pits.

Use electric shaver to clean the short hair. it works!

I have the same problem and ive tried alot of things but no help for me.

Underarm hair!? help!?

Laser removal is a good solution.

Underarm hair!? help!?

try going to a waxing place.

Underarm hair!? help!?

WAX IT!

Underarm hair!? help!?

just let em' grow as long as possible. try to pull off the "natural" look. not many ppl can pull it off

Underarm hair!? help!?

move to europe and don't shave. YOu will look normal there

Look into laser removal. You may never have to shave again. They may even be able to change the pigmentation (color). See a cosmetic dermatologist.

Use conditioner and shave up rinse, more conditioner, shave down, rinse, more conditioner, repeat. I don't have the dark color problem but I have heard many people with this problem on the internet. Lemon juice seems to help. I have also read that shaving at night instead of morning lasts longer. Not sure why but I have tried it and it makes a difference. Google Dark Armpits-there is a lot of info out there. Also, try not to obsess too much because I'm sure other people aren't noticing it as much as you are.

Underarm hair!? help!?

Go to a salon and have it professionally waxed. That usually lasts a couple of weeks. Just make sure when you go that you haven't just shaved. You need to have some hair under there for them to really pull them out effectively.

It's not that expensive--maybe $20 and most salons that do waxing can do this for you.

I wouldn't use nair on those areas, you'll get pretty itchy! You're getting the rashes because you're shaving too much. It's a sensitive area, you need to give it a break once in a while. Also, make sure your razors aren't dull.

Underarm hair!? help!?

I think you should try plucking them with tweezers. They take a little time to get used to, but it pulls the root of the hair out so your hair will not grow back as fast. Good luck!

I think the best way to solve your problem is to stop shaving your armpit(cause you're experiencing razor burns). And if you have enough budget, the best thing you have to do is to have a permanent laser hair removal. Try taking Glutathione pills to whiten your dark spot. Make sure your Glutathione has vit.c and grape seed extract, in order to see fast results. And try using hypo-allergenic deodorant(maybe your skin is too sensitive). And if your using a shaving cream or foam, make sure that its for sensitive skin.

I am the SAME way. It sucks, sometimes my friends joke and are like "ew you don't shave" BUT I DO! So, I'm trying professional waxing sometime soon. I don't know where you live but I know of a really good place.

Underarm hair!? help!?

You may have an allergic reaction to you deodorant. Try using crystal salt deodorant . It's natural and really works. In time the discoloration will go away

Underarm hair!? help!?

I have the same problem. Are you dark haired? I think it's normal for dark haird people to get those grey spots.... You can try waxing them, it's painful but you won't get those grey spots. Or you can try a Braun electric hair remover, it pulls out the hair from the roots, it's less painful than waxing IMO.

Underarm hair!? help!?

leave it to the guys to have a rude answer, bet if you were with them they wouldnt make fun of you. Try a different brand of hair removal cream if that doesnt work go get it waxed, but OUCHY!! Help I helped.

Underarm hair!? help!?
