Bad idea, unless you want a dead yorkie. Hair dye can be toxic to dogs and cats, even the "temporary" kind.

Too much chance of harming the coat or skin. Old dogs naturally get grey around their muzzles and/or faces, and sometimes throughout their body. It's a normal occurrence and doesn't detract from their appearance at all.

There are a few safe, non toxic products you can color your dog with. Most are temporary and semi-permanant. Something easy you could do yourself is sidewalk chalk..Crayola non-toxic brand only. Soak the tip of the chalk in warm water, draw lines on the area you want to color, and then use a slicker brush to brush it through. The color will fade and come out with bathing.

They also make color specifically for pets. I color my dog all the time..never had a problem. I wouldn't advise coloring if your dog already had skin problems.

Lots of groomers color dogs. I would call around to groomers in your area and see if any of them will do it for you.

I really hope you are not serious.... dogs dont need humans to be vain for their benefit... they dont care if they have grey hair and neither should you. Personally I love the way dogs get grey with age it adds a dignified expression to their faces, especially when their muzzle starts getting grizzled. Please dont dye your dogs fur.. its pointless and vain.
