Have used just for men a few times and like the results,my missus dont mind the grey hair but i do,but every time i dye it people who know i was grey seem to have this need to keep questioning it and taking the piss,whats up with them? does it really matter that i dont wanna be bloody grey at 34??????

Be a man..use hair dye...don't use men's hair dye though..use women's hair dye..like clairol..yes I said women's..it will not damage your hair ,men's hair dye chemcials are too strong.

im 33 and have the odd grey hair. but my grey hair started coming through when i was only 28. i laugh it off and say its my grey highlights. there aint much you can do only do what your doing and dyeing it. george clooney is grey and what a sex bomb he is. grey hair on men is sexyyyy

Everyone's a little nosy, and it's a curiosity to some people when men dye their hair (or for that matter, when anything about someone's appearance changes.) When your best buddy comes back from a vacation sporting a tan, gets a noticeably different haircut, or starts wearing Hawaiian shirts every day, you comment on it, don't you? Same thing.

Hey, by the way... most women I know (including myself) think gray hair is sexy... or at the very worst it makes no difference to them...

I started going grey at 16! At first I thought it was quite cool, but I didn't go grey evenly; I ended up with an almost pure white patch on top, and got fed up with people asking if I'd been decorating or walking near seagulls! So it was 'Just for men' from then on!

first of all stop worrying a lot of ladies like the grey look the salt and pepper look i for 1 find it very sexy so stop the just for men and let it go grey naturally as people know anyway when u dye it if thats not acceptable shave it off completley as a lot of women like the bald look too ie grant michell ;-) good luck sexy never seen u but i have an image in my head ;-)

Well darling just use a colour that is nearer to your tone and explain to your in-sensitive friends that it really upsets you when they take the piss or say well at least I am not going bald and then laugh and buy a beer. It really is not a big deal. And yes I agree use women's hair colour L'Oreal is very good.

My hubby was really grey when we met and he was only 27 at the time. I am now 35 and going grey very rapidly and dying it like mad at the hairdresser to disguise it. Men tend to look fairly handsome when they are going grey for some reason whereas I just look tired and haggard. If you are happier dying it then do so. There will come a time and age - hopefully at least 20 years from now when you have to stop - don't go too dark though as it can look really obvious - and redder tones are more flattering to the complexion as we get older

I wouldnt bother about whate everyone else thinks - esp if ur lady likes it

but if you want to dye it then do and ppl who take the piss obv arent your friends so ur better off not listening to them anyway! why not go to hairdressers and have them do it i know it costs more but they will be able to give you more natural complementing colours and also it will make you feel good about urself so you wont care what everyone thinks!

It may seem like a big deal to you, but to others i really dont think its gonna make one jot of difference if you are going grey or not. Personally i think it makes a man look distinguished. If you keep colouring your hair, you will always have to keep it up becuase you are going to continue to go grey and im sure you dont want to look like David Guest when you are 50-ish! Grow older gracefully. its far more attractive. I know you may not like it, but its gonna happen regardless.

And dont let anyone poke fun at you. They are only pointing it out because one day they know its gonna happen to them.

My mother in law is in her early 50's but went grey when she was 18. she coloured her hair for years, but she looks far better with it natural!

You know,there's an old saying that goes,'When there's snow on the roof,there's a fire down below!' My personal opinion is that grey hair is very sexy!! But it's your feelings on the subject that matter-so I would suggest using women's hair colourings as they are kinder,can be multi-tonal (hence look more natural),and condition your hair nicely.

hunni don't worry cause i know someone who went grey at 10 so it aint nuffin to wurri bout if you wanna change your hair colour then look around for hair dyes that are your natural hair colour it looks great and no one will know!

I think your friends are in-sensitive u wait until they start going grey!! I think you should try using some of the womens products on your hair like nice and easy or something I think it gives you more effect that lasts and is not so obvious that everyone will notice as you have more choice in colours etc,

anyway sometimes a bit of salt and pepper looks good but don't worry I understand your fears after all your only 34!!!

Hey there's nothing wrong with you dying your hair if you want to.

If people are commenting on it often..it's probably because you cannot get a good dye job with "just for men". The tones of color offered are too generic..you need to have it professionally done or buy the dye that is marketed towards the ladies. If you do this you will be able to find a more natural looking color that will not scream "I'M GREY AND I DYE MY HAIR".

If you can't afford salon dyed hair try your local beauty college it is alot cheaper and you can ask for a student with more experience!!!
