Help i dyed my hair and my hair pulls gold tones at the root but now my ends are bluish grey what sh

I know i should go to a salon. Is there any thing i can do at home? If not after the salon fixes it. What hair color should i use? My goal is to be a very light beige blonde. But now i have yellowish gold tones at the root and greyish bue at the ends. I swear every time i go to a salon they can never achieve the color i want. Somebody help! Please!

Go to a beauty supply store, you can find one in the phone book..

buy an item called 'Blueing'..the girls in the store will know what you are talking about...then ask them for some 40 volume developer(it is a poroxide)..they have different levels and you will probably need the 40 since it will give you a strong activation..Dont forget to get an application bottle to mix the 2 items in..On the package of 'Blueing' you will find the instructions of how much of the developer you are going to need..Now this is going to basically strip your hair of all color..make sure you leave it on (usually 25 min) and you will see you hair turn to a real light blonde that looks more yellow..but have no fear..Cause what you are going to do next will give you what you are wanting..Pick up a Miss Clairol color kit..make sure you find the shade of blonde you like and after you have completely stripped the color from your hair then apply the Ms Clairol and again it should take about 25 minutes..that should be all you need to do in order to reverse what you have already done...After you have put your hair through hell and back make sure you don't add anything else color wise to it for at least 6 wks..by then you make be in need of a root touch up but your hair will also be able to handle it by waiting the 6 wks..and only do the roots when after the 6 wks..do not apply it to your entire head otherwise you will change the color you have just worked so hard on getting..hope that helps..

If you can't cut them off you need to use a color stripper (take it all out and start over). You're going to need to wait a few days between jobs though. It really is drying for your hair. If you are going lighter, which is what I'm assuming you are doing, it is much safer to go to a salon. It does take a few treatments to achieve the color you are looking for so you may not be satisfied after the first few visits.

Oh yikes! Sounds like you have a problom, my friend. Nothing you can do at home will help I'm afraid. At the salon, they will have a chemical which will remove the color that's in there. Most likely, you will need to start fresh. This is what I would recommend. I'm assuming that you are very dark naturally and this is why you're pulling gold. If the bleach isen't left on for a specific length of time, or the right level of peroxide is not used, you're not going to get the blonde that you're looking for. You may need a few appointments to achieve the color that you want. If you're looking to do this all in one appointment, you may not end up with the blonde that you want. Rome wasen't built in a day, same thing here. Get to know your new stylist, who knows ALOT about color, and stick with her for at least a few appointments (providing she's good and leading you in the right direction!)

As for right now, don't do anything at home yourself. Doing this will lead to crazy colors and damage done to the hair. Relax...sport a ball cap for a wee while until you can get to a stylist. Go to a stylist that's recommended. Not just someone out of the phone book. Take a picture with you and ask if the color is possible, if not now, but eventually. You may need to work on getting the color you want.

I know this is not the answer you were looking for, but it's the best answer I can give.

Hope it helps anyways!!

Good luck to you!
