My hair was bleached and some parts of it was orange, an ash toner was used now my bleached highligh

I had my hair bleached and had a beautiful yellowish blonde color to it. the problem was there were some parts of my hair that was orange. So my hair stylist said that an ash toner would take out the orange and assured me that my blonde highlights would not be affected, she was wrong! It turned my hair into a greyish color and some of my blonde parts of the hair turned completely brown and it looks terrible. My hair has been bleached many times before and is in terrible condition. How can I get my blonde highlights back! Help me please.

I am not a professional at all, but I was the manager of Sally's Beauty Supply for years, and I picked up a thing or two. The first thing you are going to have to do is put a really good conditioner in your hair, if it is that damaged, you need to use a deep conditioner. I am not sure what type of hair you have, but Nature's Way has a really good conditioner. Leave it in there for at least an hour. Then you are going to have to dye your hair one color with a neutral base, then after that is done and your hair is one color then I would go to a real professional to get your hair highlighted. Ash is a very tricky thing to work with, it can either turn your hair gray or even green. I would ask another professional, before you do anything. Good luck.

I suggest you get colored back to your natural hair color all over and give it a few weeks before you start high lightening it again. To many processes to your hair is to damaging.

OMG! The same exact thing happened to me yesterday! I hope WE get a good answer. It's a good thing I'm so damn good looking..LOL. Gray!...and I won't be 30 until next month. Good Luck!

OK...Just keep washing your hair a bunch! That's what I did and not only did it fix the color but it also washed the gray right out of my hair! OR redye it....I redyed my hair...cuz you should have seen it after the first dye! AND no my hair didnt fall out...and i used 2 hair dyes in the same day. Hope that helps.

Your hair stylist needs to go back to school. Let your hair grow out. Bleach is the worse thing for your hair, as you well know. You have to start at square one now %26amp; get your ends trimmed every six weeks, then keep your hair well conditioned. I don't know how long your hair is now, but maybe you can get a haircut to get rid of the multiple colors, to the point where it looks better than it does now. Go to a different salon or go where you went before but choose a different stylist. Let you hair colors grow completely out %26amp; get your hair back into good condition. Stay away from bleach %26amp; get highlights put in your hair or go with a semi permanent color once your hair is healthy %26amp; that will take time. Get some professional deep conditioning treatments at least once a month.

I have the same problem.I also cannot find a hair stylist that will give me a hair cut at lest the hair cut that i want. OK, Right now the only thing I WOUILD suggest is wash your hair with a heavy conditioning shampoo and daily conditioner, that does not have anything to do with haircolor. And monthly condition your hair once a week. this is damage control. AFTER ALL THE OLD HAIR COLOR IS OUT OF YOUR HAIR! try Hydrience, palest blonde.
