Is graying hair grounds for divorce?

Husbands faily show grey hair as they age. They accept this and dont hide their grey hair. Wife claims her side eventhough approximately the same in age doesnt have grey hair. She doesnt know that sisters in the past have said that they dye their hair. Naive wife doesnt know this. Husband says he accept all that comes with age and experience and have no need to dye it Wifes dies her hair and says shes the only one in her family that has grey hair. . Husband says grey hair is a part of life Either accept it, live with it or hide it. No problem His grey hair to her is a problem. Both are over fifty and been married over twenty years. What do you say?

Grey hair is sexy!!

Is graying hair grounds for divorce?

That is a dumb reason for divorce. Divorces in the USA are no fault anyway so it is a moot point!!!

Is graying hair grounds for divorce?

Im confused! It hurts!....Hair turning grey....

It's a sign of maturity. As long as it's wellkept, it'll be fine.

Is graying hair grounds for divorce?

LOL !!!

Is graying hair grounds for divorce?

Dying one's hair does make a person look younger but if her husband doesn't dye his to match hers that is certainly not grounds for divorce. Sheesh! Apparently there are other problems in this relationship. The hair-dying is just an excuse.

I say she wants to feel she is hooked up with a young stud again. His gray hair is making her feel old and has almost nothing to do with him. It is all about her image of herself. If all she can attract is an old, gray-haired man, then she must be getting older (and less attractive) herself.

Tell her to look at a photo of Sophia Loren with her gray hair and try to tell anyone that you can not look good with it.

Is graying hair grounds for divorce?

If she wants a divorce over something stupid like grey hair, it should be given to her and get her out of the way. The house should be sold and divide up 50/50. All other property, can be sold, split, etc.

Is graying hair grounds for divorce?

I think she's moved to fantasy land. What's she going to do about her wrinkles? loose skin? Age spots? failing eyes and ears? If she wants to die her hair, let her even though she'll look silly. Aging is a normal process and should not be an issue. And for men with grey hair...send them this way...I think it's gorgeous!!!!!!!

Is graying hair grounds for divorce?

lol.. I think grey hair are HOT..

I dont think that's the reasons for divoice..

Is graying hair grounds for divorce?

No way is it grounds for such extreme action!!

Turning grey is natural and has nothing to do with who you really are.

If she lost her vision, would it matter then? Such shallowness has no place in a loving relationship and maintaining the illusion of youth is a fools dream.

That many years married (congratulations) at that age and for such a trivial matter, I would be concerned that there is more behind that than just the grey hair part....

Good luck!

Is graying hair grounds for divorce?

Yeah, that's a great reason for a divorce. By that reasoning, he should have left her when she became barren after menopause.............

Is graying hair grounds for divorce?

If she's going to leave him due to a few gray hairs, then maybe he should've left her sooner when she started sprouting the chin hairs and mustache.

Is graying hair grounds for divorce?

That's a personal choice whether you want grey hair or to dye it. I can't see why it is grounds for divorce.

It's a natural part of aging and something we must accept as we do our aches and pains.

Is graying hair grounds for divorce?

Anyone who is willing to throw away a 20 year marriage over gray hair has some problems. My husband has some gray, and I think it looks good.

Is graying hair grounds for divorce?

yup, hair turning grey, ingrown toenails, bunions, arthritus, parapalegic, lost eyesight, missing digit on hands or feet, hangnail...all these and many more are reasons to divorce today...for people who just want out and need some kind of reason 2 justify the decision to themselves that is.

Is graying hair grounds for divorce?

Its his hair. Why should he dye it?Some of those dyes have who knows what in them.Maybe she feels he is not taking pride in his appearance by going grey? The thing is the Bible talks about white hair being like a crown.Grey hair can be pretty.I dont see a problem.

Is graying hair grounds for divorce?

I'm with Kychick... gray hair is sexy. My hubby is 48 and has a full head of pretty silver hair. I am 45 and have a few around my hairline, but nothing to distress about...

Gray hair is a natural thing... if she is so worried about it, she can continue to dye her hair, although it is not necessary. I will distress when my hair turns all gray, unless it's shiny and pretty... It's a sign of passing over into the next level. You've won the last level, and it's time to move on.

To divorce someone over gray hair is unacceptable. The same would go for a man who leaves his wife of 35 years for a younger girl because his wife is not the same girl she was at 25 when they married. That's just rude, isn't it?

The lady is incorrect in thinking that gray hair is a problem. This is the media and society's fault, actually. If we were not always showing people buying product to hide their gray hair, both men and women, then we would not be so stigmatized over it.

The lady is wrong... She needs to mature into her haircolor.
