Genetics question - what colour hair will my son end up with?

My son is 1, he was born with golden blonde hair which look red only in certain lights........anyway as it's grown it has become a sandy/strawberry blonde colour. However in some lights it looks more red and others totally blonde, which is totally baffling. What colour do you think it might end up being? He has beautiful blue eyes like his fathers too.

My hair was a very light blonde as a child and is now a darkish blonde. I have green eyes. My husband has always very very dark brown/black hair and blue eyes.

There are no red-head on hubby's side, they are all dark. I have an uncle who had red/strawberry hair as a child (it's now sandy/grey) and apparently my grandmother had reddish hair too, but we are not sure if it was dyed!

I wonder if an expert could give advice about the colour hair my son may end up with and the likely colour of future children's hair.

hi!!! hair changes color all throughout your life. when i was born my hair was pitch black, and as i got a little older it went to ash brown with red when the sun hit it-my son has the sasme hair and his dad has black hair-as i got older it turned blonde and when i was 14 i had platinum blonde hair. now im 20 and its turning brown as did my moms and my grandma's hair did. so who knows what hair color your son will have....youll just have to wait and see

your son's hair might darken some... My brother used to have very very blonde hair when he was little, but he now has dark brown hair..... Hope I helped you in some way.....

it well probably turn darker over time so maybe a brown or dark auburn color which is a mix of blonde red and brown.
