I dyed my red hair black one time... and it turned out purple. I couldn't stand it, so I re-dyed it a few days later.

You can dye it again in about a week. And for better results use a product called a "Filler" it pretty much evens out the porosity in your hair. The color should come out pretty even, and you can find it at any beauty suppy store.

Wash and dry then try a new color--NOTE: continuly dying causes hair loss so you might think about waiting awhile between dyings once you achieve the color you want.
