Is it selfish if don't donate hair to locks of love?

My mom has very long hair down almost to her knee. Her hair is brown, thick ,healthy,no split end,no layer. She make her hair into a

huge bun with a hairnet every day.

Yesterday in the shopping mall,my mom's bun was a little loose. And she went to the Ladies' room and release her hair ,brushed it ,in order to make a tidy bun again.A young lady saw her hair and told my mom she should cut her hair short and donate it to locks of love, bun with hairnet is a style for old granny. My mom said "no,i love my hair."the lady said my mom was selfish that made my mom unhappy the whole day.

My mom is 46 years old.If she cut her hair, she would have no chance to grow her hair that long in her whole life. She wants to keep it long when it turn to grey.So i want to ask ,should i mom cut her hair and donate it.Is it selfish if don't donate hair to locks of love?

Is it selfish if don't donate hair to locks of love?

It is not selfish to not donate.

Hair is a very identifying thing for people. She has worked hard to get her hair to that length and have it be something that people use to identify her and her personality.

Don't let your mom worry about that lady, that was a very rude thing to do.

If your mom ever does decide to cut her hair... then she should donate it. ONLY then would it be selfish not to donate it. She has to decide to cut it for her own reasons, not just because someone told her to donate it.

Cutting off a lot of hair has a kind of psychological effect, it is like a new beginning or a change in your life. You should only do it if you are ready to.

Is it selfish if don't donate hair to locks of love?

No, she is not selfish at all for wanting to keep her hair! It's her hair, and she can do what she wants with it. :]

Is it selfish if don't donate hair to locks of love?

No its her choice.......

Is it selfish if don't donate hair to locks of love?

No that's not selfish!

Whoever told her that, is NOT a good spokesperson for Locks of Love and makes them look bad...

Whenever you donate something, you do it out of charity, because you want to... and if she doesn't want to, she doesn't have to.

(I know its YOUR mom, but that even made ME mad!)

Tell you mom not to feel bad...

Is it selfish if don't donate hair to locks of love?

if she has no need for the hair, then perhaps it is selfish...HOWEVER, a woman's hair is her sanity....many cut their hair to "start over", gain new insight, etc. Now, ask your mom how she would feel if she did donate her hair. A child/teenager has cancer and no hair, someone who isnt able to grow their hair, how would she feel if she did it? Yes she will miss it, but then there is the constant reminder that she has blessed someone else who doesn't have the opportunity to do what she already has. Sometimes its better to be a blessing....See what she thinks about it.

Is it selfish if don't donate hair to locks of love?

Your mother is not selfish. That lady was simply rude, and she has no right to tell your mother what to do. That hair is part of her own body and even though it's not like her hair is a kidney or something like that -- nobody has a right to tell her to cut part of her own body off and give it to someone else.

Is it selfish if don't donate hair to locks of love?

You don't go making charitable decisions for other people.

Locks of Love needs 10-12 inches of hair, if your mom decides to do it, she need not be scalped, in fact, considering the way she wears it, no one would notice, not even her.

But, when people do something that extreme, a good part of their identity is wrapped up in it, it is after all a very difficult thing to care for, considerable time is spent washing and drying, rolling and pinning, much more than would be considered acceptable unless its tied into her idea of herself.

Is it selfish if don't donate hair to locks of love?

this lady was just jealous your mom's hair and wanted ur mom to cut it short.Don't care her

Is it selfish if don't donate hair to locks of love?

No, it's not selfish. If she were to cut it because she wanted to, and then she didn't donate and just let the stylist throw it away, THAT would be selfish. But no etiquette or law states that you MUST grow out your hair and cut it off to donate. That lady that told her that was a b*tch.

Is it selfish if don't donate hair to locks of love?

No, it's not selfish if she wants to KEEP it. If she got it all docked off and just trashed it.... ehhh.

Bare Escentuals brow kit... what color to get? dark brown hair...?

I have been looking at the brow kit and am wondering what color to get. I have very dark brown hair, thinking the auburn? the brunette almost looks grey, right?

http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh...

Bare Escentuals brow kit... what color to get? dark brown hair...?

Why do some men wear long hair?

Hair length is a cultural thing. There are very few cultures that feature long hair for men. Why do some western men wear long hair when it makes them look dirty and out of step? Especially older guys with grey hair. An old, fat, balding guy with a greasy ponytail is disgusting. Most of these guys look like bums. The women I've dated and who I wanted to date who are older than 24 consider long hair as equivalent to smoking or tattoos. They think guys who wear long hair are losers. I used to wear my hair long after leaving the military, but it was a drag. Keeping it clean and out of my face was irritating. My dating life started picking up when I cut my hair. Higher class women. So, what do guys get out of long hair?

Why do some men wear long hair?

I wear my long hair because it represents my individuality because I don't conform to standards that people like you place on how men should wear there hair, I also listen to Death Metal, so..... because i ****** feel like it.

Why do some men wear long hair?

to cover bald spot if you are older.

Why do some men wear long hair?

i dont no but its nastey i think , when some guy hair is longer than mine

Why do some men wear long hair?

I don't know what they get out of it, unless no dates is an option!

long hair on a guy is gross!!!!

Why do some men wear long hair?

Some women like men with long hair. Not a lot, but some. And there are some men who actually do look good with long hair. It takes a lot of confidence and good grooming for a man to pull it off, but I have seen it done, and it looks fantastic.

Why do some men wear long hair?

have no idea but i think a man is very nice looking with short hair,i wan go with a man that har long, but that is up to a man if he wants long hair,if he keeps it comb and clean.

Why do some men wear long hair?

Maybe it was a style that they grew up with and they just are so use to it they keep it going. I know alot of young guys look good with semi long hair and it look mysterious and sexyl. But older guys I agree do not look good with it.

Why do some men wear long hair?

It's prob'ly their style. 'N some girls like long hair (NOT ME)

Why do some men wear long hair?

it's a personal preference thing. I don't care for it at all, but some other girls might: I don't know any though lol

Why do some men wear long hair?

so i can be me.....not you ...keeps the wemen away also....i dont need the trouble...

Why do some men wear long hair?

For the same reason some men wear it short or shave it off, they like it that way. Everyone has their own personal look they enjoy. It isn't for anyone to say what is good or bad. If it makes you feel good go with it.

Why do some men wear long hair?

Because of celebrities like Steve Nash and Johnny Damon... I know that was my reason and my reason for cutting it off was also because it took too much time to take care of it and it was hard to keep out of my face... So... I cutted it off and it felt so much better and plus it shocked a lot of people when they saw me with my haircut... So... I also did for the shock value... Since then I hadn't had my hair long... That has been 5 or so months now... No temptation to grow it back either...

Why do some men wear long hair?

I have a flattop

Why do some men wear long hair?

I used to where my hair long to be different. I cut it becuase no body believed I would. I happen to like long hair. And my hair was nappy and greasy like many guys with long hair have. It is personal preferance. My style and many others people style is basically, I don't give a S@$^ what other people think.

Why do some men wear long hair?

Everyone has a different style.

If every man had short hair, the world would be a more boring place.

Natural hair dye?

hi

normolly iam useing hair dye for grey hairs , now more hair loss problem i faceing so please suggest natural haird dye which made only by herbal producs not content with chemicals

with out hair dye how can i clour my hairs

Natural hair dye?

The best, I think, are based on Henna

Natural hair dye?

Go to your local beauty supply store and buy some henna.

Natural hair dye?

Most places that sell organic foods also carry cosmetics and hair dye. If you have a Whole Foods Market near you, you will find natural hair coloring there.

Natural hair dye?

Henna is a natural hair dye. You can buy it in drugstores and health food stores. Follow the color guide and directions. Grey hair is resistant to colour unless it's quite dry. But I know what you're saying, with the regular hair colour it gets damaged and dry with itchy scalp, etc. keep it conditioned well.

Natural hair dye?

Henna based products are one of the most natural and safe dyes out there. Infact they are all natural. Henna hair color can last for up to one year in some cases Just be sure you consult someone on the color. I tried to highlight mine with henna and accidently got the wrong color. It is commonly used in India to keep hair from turning grey they also use it to stencil designs on there skin so be sure you get the henna for your hair. Be sure the packaging has instructions in english some imported ones do not. I had to leave mine on over night but I am sure there are better henna products available now. you may want to check out this site it is called henna hair dye things to consider 1st http://www.chambersessentials.com/henna-...

Natural hair dye?

If you are going to use3 henna on your hair please make sure that you do a strand test on your hair before doing the whole lot.

Natural dyes are great however they dont always mix well with other types of colour, so unless you have grown out your old stuff COMPLETELY then you could be asking for a serious reaction to happen!

A good salon product in regard to natural colours would be Sebastian Cellophanes. They contain no ammonia or peroxide and leave the hair in better condition than it was before and it will cover a certain amount of white ( no such thing as grey hair) hair.

On a final note, if a permenant colour is done properly it will not have any detrimental effect on the hair and its structure and condition .... the only thing that causes that is bad stylists who dont know what they are doing and home jobs of course.. so if you have no luck with the veggie dyes there is no need for you to stop using a permenant dye on it, but get it done by a colour tech who really knows what they are talking about.

Hope that helps

To clip hair, or not to clip hair; that is the question... pic?

First off I'm 37, My hair on the top is a little thinner than it was when i was in my 20's. for the past year I clipped my hair with trimmers, up until about 3 weeks ago. I decided to let it grow out a little bit.

after I take a shower I usually use American Male - Fiber in my hair to do a 10 second style on it. I usually like the sides shorter, especially now since thats where the grey hairs are showing most.

dont mind the fatter face in the pic on the left, I slacked off last year and gained about 30 lbs. I'm back in the gym now so I'll lose it in a few months.

the first pic was taken today, and the second pic was taken in august.

whould I let my hair grow out a little bit and have it cut to shape in a salon, or should i just go back to clipping it all again

http://img262.imageshack.us/img262/4034/...

To clip hair, or not to clip hair; that is the question... pic?

To clip is the answer

To clip hair, or not to clip hair; that is the question... pic?

no no no keep it the lengh it is do not cut it off men with no hair are ugly and you aren't so help yourself and keep the locks women love it

To clip hair, or not to clip hair; that is the question... pic?

shave it off-

To clip hair, or not to clip hair; that is the question... pic?

it looks good right now! i think you should let it grow out alittle more then cut it.

To clip hair, or not to clip hair; that is the question... pic?

I like the hairstyle on the left better than the one on the right. Just keep it trimmed up a bit.

To clip hair, or not to clip hair; that is the question... pic?

lemme put it this way !

with longer hair you look younger than what you looked with short hair .

also ur facecut appears to b oval with longer hair and roundish with short hair !

so accordin to me u must not clip ur hair urself ,instead let it grow a bit more so that u can get it styled properly at the barbers !

Take good care and maintain this length !

What is the best product to cover greys? I just started to get them. My hair is thick and course.?

Color of hair Brunnette. Would like to cover them. Can I go Black? Need suggestions. Please and thank you.

What is the best product to cover greys? I just started to get them. My hair is thick and course.?

Don't go black. No one really has black hair. The best thing to use is a hair dresser. It's worth the money so you don't look dyed.

What is the best product to cover greys? I just started to get them. My hair is thick and course.?

It's important to have greys covered professionally for your best look. This is because some of the very light or white hair just won't absorb the pigment in the dyes you can buy off the shelf. However, if you can't afford to visit a hairdresser, there is a rinse called WaterWorks that isn't bad. I found it at Sally Beauty Supply and it costs about $5.

What is the best product to cover greys? I just started to get them. My hair is thick and course.?

Ok theres these options:

1)When our hair goes gray it doesn't mean we should stop looking after it. As we age so does our hair and its times like this that we need to make sure we give our hair the best treatment. Gray hair can become very brittle as it loses nutrients over time.

The quick science behind why hair goes gray is that the cells in our hair follicles, which are called Melanocytes, start to lose their ability to generate color as we get older. The cells start to degenerate causing the pigment in our hair to lose it's color. The hair strand actually becomes transparent and gives the impression of gray hair against our healthier darker hair.

As the hair loses these vital nutrients its important to replenish and condition the air to prevent the follicles from becoming brittle and dry. There are many shampoos on the market which profess to help condition dry and brittle hair but what is important is to make sure that the shampoo you use for your hair has got the right ingredients in it. One of the most important ingredients especially when treating gray hair is omega 3 oil. Emu Oil is packed with omega 3's so a shampoo that has this as an ingredient then you are guaranteed of a very good product.

The great thing about omega 3' is that they actually help to reverse the graying process. The Emu Oil which is known as the "follicle awakener", is used to prevent the onset of gray hair. With a combination of Emu enriched Shampoo and Conditioner you will see a gradual process where the gray hair starts to darken and revert to its original color. All hair needs omega 3's to grow properly and Emu Oil is the only ingredient that can moisturize the hair sufficiently to get it back to the optimum 8% moisture level.

With this hair treatment combined with a good diet will see your hair become very soft and shiny as the omega 3's take effect. The bonus for those that do not want gray hair is that not only will you have healthy looking hair but the gray will start to fade as well.

2)The best way to cover gray hair roots - temporarily - is Color Mark

3) 1. Premature graying of hair can be postponed by using a strong decotion of black tea and a tablespoon of salt, strain and apply to the roots for 45 minutes and wash with water. Don't shampoo.

2. Mix 2 yolks, 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of rum, apply to the hair and scalp and leave for an hour. Rinse off.

3. Massage your scalp with a few tablespoons of mayonnaise, and rinse with water, this keeps your hair lustrous and prevents graying.

4. Heat coconut or olive oil add 3 flakes of garlic and 3 peppercorns, cool and apply on scalp.

5. To check graying of hair, mix lemon juice in olive oil, beat till frothy and apply on scalp and wash off after an hour.

4) dye hair ash blond so when the gray roots grow it'll not be that obvious or every month your natural color.

What's the best drugstore permanent hair color that won't dry out natural curly hair?

I currently use Herbal Essence semi-permanent. But I'm starting to get grey hairs and the color washed out of the grey too fast. From reading the boxes, it seems like I need to switch to a permanent. I used a permanent a couple of times years ago and I remember that it really dried out my hair. My hair is naturally curly and already very dry. What kind of hair color should I use?

What's the best drugstore permanent hair color that won't dry out natural curly hair?

L'Oreal Superior Preference is the best, and the conditioner that comes with it is great!!! If your hair gets tangled when you color it, just put some of that conditioner in and the tangles will fall out.

What's the best drugstore permanent hair color that won't dry out natural curly hair?

L鑴玶eal Feria

What's the best drugstore permanent hair color that won't dry out natural curly hair?

Loreal. the pink box.

What's the best drugstore permanent hair color that won't dry out natural curly hair?

I like Herbal Essences. It smells so good and really conditions your hair.

What's the best drugstore permanent hair color that won't dry out natural curly hair?

Anything but Feria.

I have friends that work in salons, and they tell me Feria is the worst for the health of hair. Try one of the ones especially for gray hair, or if you can afford it, go to the salon.

What's the best drugstore permanent hair color that won't dry out natural curly hair?

Garnier Color Naturals

What's the best drugstore permanent hair color that won't dry out natural curly hair?

Natural Instincts hair dye works good. I have curly hair and I use this kind and my hair is still as healthy as before. Of course it is a semi-permanent, but it should be better for your hair to use this one. Give it a try and good luck.

What's the best drugstore permanent hair color that won't dry out natural curly hair?

I have used "nice and easy" the last few times.

Dark brown works very well and it didn't look very dry. It was however very very dark! It grows out before it fades but I have not had similar luck with the lighter shades of the same product. I prefer light brown/ dark blond but that's hard to achieve because my hair is all gray on the sides and still brown (darker than it was when I was younger) on the top of my head so now I get two different shades no matter what I use

--- unless I use the really dark stuff.

If you want your hair dark brown or black, Nice and Easy is a good choice. Otherwise I don't know what to tell you. I am still looking myself.

Highlighting my hair?

I want to highlight my hair, but I also have some grey hairs, so if I go to a salon like Fantastic sams will they treat my grey hair as well when highlighting?

Highlighting my hair?

Yeah just make sure you tell your hairdresser exactly what you are looking for and they'll fix it right up!

Highlighting my hair?

I really don't know; you could ask them to, but it might cost a little bit more.

Highlighting my hair?

yes i think they will color and highlight your hair... highlights actally make your grey hair less visable when they grow out... and make you look younger too....you'll turn out looking good!!!

Highlighting my hair?

They should if you ask them too..

Highlighting my hair?

You need to make sure they acknowlege it, and make sure they understand your concern for the grey and that they make sure to take care of that issue as well as the rest of your hair.

Highlighting my hair?

Sorry but I really wouldn't recommend a place like Fantastic Sams for color. If you want good color, especially color that is good at either masking or mixing with gray hair, I'd recommend that you plan on spending some money (probably about $75 at a minimum). I know Fantastic Sams is inexpensive but I'm afraid the quality is pretty minimal.

My biggest hair problem Please Help Plz....?

Ok I am very beautiful, but my hair is getting thinner and thinner. When I cut my hair I can see the skin of my hair. If I dont cut it I can see a few grey hair.

What to do.

BTW im 15. And I am falling for this girl, I cant let this hair problem stop me. Please give me any advice, I use to use vasaline, gel, lime, lemon, butter, syrup on my hair.

My biggest hair problem Please Help Plz....?

I am sorry that your hair issues are affecting your confidence. It is sad that today people are judged by the way they look. My suggestion is to have your hairstylist crop your hair close to your head, maybe like a 1 or 2 clipper guard. If it is really short, you won't be able to see the gray hairs or the fact that your hair is thinning. And, summer is coming and there is nothing more hot than a guy with short hair and a tan. I hope everything goes good for you. You can also talk to your hairstylist about your options, I would recommend seeing a girl hairstylist as they tend to be more understanding regarding your situation than a male barber would.

My biggest hair problem Please Help Plz....?

syrup!!!!gross! all of that stuff cept get is bad for your hair!!!

My biggest hair problem Please Help Plz....?

Thats the reason your hair is going crazy you use to much vasaline, gel, lime, lemon, butter, syrup ok so stop using it

My biggest hair problem Please Help Plz....?

I would suggest contacting your doc. It could be a thryroid issue or a vitamin/mineral deficiency. Examine your family. is there a history of male pattern baldness? if so this may be your answer, but I would seek medical advice to be sure there is no underlying problem.

My biggest hair problem Please Help Plz....?

okay dont stress out about it cuz stress can cause hair to fall out. i think you should start using something like pantaned protene or garnier or something.

or you could go see a doctor bcuz you might hav a hair problem like alopecia or something.

My biggest hair problem Please Help Plz....?

Go to the doctor, and stop putting stupid things on your head! you could try taking a good multi vitamin and mineral, drink lots of water and GENTLY massage the scalp.

My biggest hair problem Please Help Plz....?

go to GNC store or walmart and buy vitamins for your hair, nails, and skin it includes Biotin. I buy One Source complete Hair, Skin %26amp; Nails. Also drink a lot of water. You probably have grey hair you are stressing. So stop stressing. And or you should ask your mom or dad if any of their family relative had grey hair young.(trust me I know what you are going through.)

My biggest hair problem Please Help Plz....?

If you are a beautiful man, and you say that you are, you probably don't even need hair. There are lots of sexy guys who are bald! Shave it and stop putting food in it!

I am almost all grey at 30sth what can i do to stop it, i loved it at a point but not any more?

i had very dark and strong strand hair when i was younger but it almost all grey now which does not match my age. i need help. however i don;t want to resolve to dying. so what can do to stop it.

I am almost all grey at 30sth what can i do to stop it, i loved it at a point but not any more?

dying works the best so you should dye it but than reduce your stress stress really gives you gray hairs.

I am almost all grey at 30sth what can i do to stop it, i loved it at a point but not any more?

there is nothing you can do to reverse the graying process except dyeing it sorry

I am almost all grey at 30sth what can i do to stop it, i loved it at a point but not any more?

At some point in life we all must dye. It's the only way to cover grey unless you'd like to invest in a few nice wigs. Grey hair can a resistant to the dying process so you may want to get it done professionally the first time then do touch ups at home.

Why does hair dye never work for me? I have tried all sorts of products & even when one seems to

it still washes out afetr 2-3 shamopoos. I have even resorted to leaving the dye on for two hours, but it still doesn't cover my few grey hair very well, and as I say, after a few washes the whole colour is gone again.

I have tried to dye my hair in similar tones to my own mousey mane and I have tried going slightely darker. I really just don't want to be grey yet, what can I do?

Oh and yes, it is hair dye products I have used, not wash in and out colours..........

Why does hair dye never work for me? I have tried all sorts of products %26amp; even when one seems to have worked,?

you have poor porosity hair....hair has a compact, unlifted cuticle which is resistant to absorption...grey hair requires presoftening or prepigmentation...your hair should be allowed max timing ...you will be needing a higher volume when using color....more than 20V....you may need 30V or 40V.....find a senior stylist or one that is a color tech.....you may have better results....good luck

Why does hair dye never work for me? I have tried all sorts of products %26amp; even when one seems to have worked,?

It sounds like your hair doesn't hold color very well. Your best bet would be to go to a salon and have it professionally done. More expensive, but they will make it last longer.

Why does hair dye never work for me? I have tried all sorts of products %26amp; even when one seems to have worked,?

may be u should try the brand new ones

Why does hair dye never work for me? I have tried all sorts of products %26amp; even when one seems to have worked,?

make sure you stylist is using a double pigmented color for grey color,

Schwarzkopf is the best, tell your stylist to use the -00 series.

I have dark brown hair and i want to change it to grey, which is my natural colour. how do i do it?

Bleach'd make it light, then I guess dark highlights.

I have dark brown hair and i want to change it to grey, which is my natural colour. how do i do it?

Stop using hair dye and let it grow back to its natural colour !

Its cheap and its easy to do.

I have dark brown hair and i want to change it to grey, which is my natural colour. how do i do it?

You could bleach your hair blonde and then keep when it grows out grey it wont be so noticeable. You will look years older with grey hair, why do you want grey hair?

I have dark brown hair and i want to change it to grey, which is my natural colour. how do i do it?

Have fractious kids, a nagging wife, lose your job, get burgled, have your pet run away, your car stolen, then have some neighbours from hell move in next door. That should do it!

I have dark brown hair and i want to change it to grey, which is my natural colour. how do i do it?

have kids. It will turn grey fast. Especially at the teen years

I have dark brown hair and i want to change it to grey, which is my natural colour. how do i do it?

STOP Dyeing it Michael. That's a start.

I have dark brown hair and i want to change it to grey, which is my natural colour. how do i do it?

Just stop using hair dye, it will with time go back to being grey.

I have dark brown hair and i want to change it to grey, which is my natural colour. how do i do it?

Just have it coloured a shade lighter each time you have it coloured and have a regular trim to cut off the ends. Eventually you will cut off the very dark. It will need to be a very gradual process. I know having your hair coloured is a chore because I had to go through all of this.

I have to agree that grey hair does make one look older because since I left mine to go grey no-one has been surprised at my age, although they were beforehand. I would still have mine coloured but it went much thinner after having cancer and I don't want to damage it anymore that it already is.

I have dark brown hair and i want to change it to grey, which is my natural colour. how do i do it?

wait a few years and nature will do it for you at no cost.

Should I dye my hair Brunette if I'm a Blonde?

I have platinum blonde hair, extremely fair skin (meaning i never tan), and grey/blue eyes. I've always wondered what I'd look like as a dark brunette but I'm not sure if it will look good. And I can't just dye my hair back to blonde because my hair has so many natural highlights that my hair color cant be copied.

What should I do? Leave it alone... or take a chance?

Should I dye my hair Brunette if I'm a Blonde?

Try it -sounds cute.

Should I dye my hair Brunette if I'm a Blonde?

Why not try some brown low lights to see if you like it.

Should I dye my hair Brunette if I'm a Blonde?

nope, leave it.

Should I dye my hair Brunette if I'm a Blonde?

Blond hair is the hair every one is out to copy it seems, I'd be happy just having it naturally! I don't blame you though....hair color gets boring after a while :) I'd need a better picture, but I've seen plenty of fair brunettes who look awesomeee. Just consider your eyebrows, if they're super light you may not want to go that dark. And you really never never never want to dye brows EVER! If you're bored %26amp; unsure maybe get some lowlights, your hair sounds nice already :p

Should I dye my hair Brunette if I'm a Blonde?

noooo, please there are far to many brunettes around and im sure your to pretty to be brunette, blonde is much better, plus im also naturally blonde and when i dyed my hair brown i looked horrible because my skin tone did not match the colour.

Should I dye my hair Brunette if I'm a Blonde?

highlight it

if u dont want to highlight, dont dye it burnette thats what my friend did...her hair was like urs ....omg i swear she looked ugly! she highlight it just like that, eew!

so leave it alone if u dont wanna highlight it ..

Should I dye my hair Brunette if I'm a Blonde?

I would leave it alone :]

but you can dye like the tips of your hair sorta :]

that might be cool :]

just get a nice cut. No need to dye :]

GOOD LUCK!

Should I dye my hair Brunette if I'm a Blonde?

Definitely leave it, my sister's bf dyed his and it won't go back

Should I dye my hair Brunette if I'm a Blonde?

That's funny there are so many people dying their hair blonde and your asking to be a brunette? Anyway please don't dye your hair. If you were asking if you should keep your hair straight or curly or something i would say go curly, but for hair color, no keep it. Leave it, if your hair color cannot be copied why change it? Why mess up unique hair? I hope you make the right choice and stay blonde, but don't let me sway you, do whatever makes you feel good.

Should I dye my hair Brunette if I'm a Blonde?

i wouldn't do it your hair sounds fab but try on a wig and see if you like it or only use semi permanent dyes xxx

I have light brown hair, dyed for years. I want a rich brown with auburn tones?

I am 40ish and have had grey since I was 22ish. I usually have my hair professionally done but can not afford it right now.

I have light brown hair, dyed for years. I want a rich brown with auburn tones?

Check out a beauty college, in which the students are professionally supervised by salon and fashion experienced instructors. This is what I did and took my 2 kids, too. It was always clean, the students were delighted to work on a "real person's hair," instead of the training hair or each other, and I got a great cut for $5, a perm for $20, the kids' cuts were $3 a head (haha). Anyway, it worked for me during the lean years.

I have light brown hair, dyed for years. I want a rich brown with auburn tones?

go to the store and buy the hair care products...not the cheap kind....pantene i guess idk i always get mine professinally done...my mommy pays for it...im not even 16 yet soo yeah idk...about greys....but i know about hair care

閳?is a MARAthon

I have light brown hair, dyed for years. I want a rich brown with auburn tones?

Loreal Preference rich golden brown will do the trick.

I have light brown hair, dyed for years. I want a rich brown with auburn tones?

dont use Clairol.... did u hear about the woman who's hair fell out?

I have light brown hair, dyed for years. I want a rich brown with auburn tones?

Use the Indian natural dye-its called as Henna. Make a paste using coffee/tea decoction and henna powder, add some lemon juice and let it stand over night. The next day apply it to your hair and leave till the paste starts to get dry. This will be for at least 2-3hrs minium. Then rinse off completely . You need to make sure that you have completely washed out all the paste off.Do not shampoo for at least a day.

Then shampoo after one day using more of the conditioner. If you include this in your hair care regime once in every 3 weeks you will get your auburn tones using completely natural ingredients.

I have light brown hair, dyed for years. I want a rich brown with auburn tones?

O Please PLEASE dont use Panteen....That is the worst haircare you can buy. SAMY is what i reccomend. Or Biolage. And as far as hair coloring, just wait untill you can afford it. Dont use hair products from the store. They will tear your hear up badly. My aunt is a professional hair dresser, so i know what im talkin about..

Tricky Male Hair Advice Needed?

Okay, it's not that tricky. Anyone's advice is welcomed and don't read this question as an "OMG WHAT SHOULD I DO?!?!" I just thought I'd get a couple of suggestions.

22 year old male. Receding hairline, but I think it's full on top. (Think Jude Law, Heath Ledger) I'm also getting random grey hairs on the sides (maybe back of head also? I have medium to dark brown hair) Currently I've been cutting my hair very short. 3/8'' top, 1/4'' sides and back. My hair gets fairly curly when it gets longer, but it's kind of thinning on the front so it looks stupid. It looks fuller when kept short.

Any advice? I like it short, and think I might try it even shorter than I have it now, like to the point where you see the coloring of the hair but don't really see the hair itself. I really don't think there is anything else to try, so I don't really know what anyone could advise, lol.

Tricky Male Hair Advice Needed?

shave it!

Tricky Male Hair Advice Needed?

yeah dude!

cut it very short as almost skin head.

this will reduce your anxiety and people

will start to get used to you wearing it.

Tricky Male Hair Advice Needed?

A friend of mine (female) has androgenetic alopecia and she's been using Rogaine foam with some success. You might want to give it a try-- I think she buys hers at Costco for about $40. It maybe worth a try if you want to keep your hair intact.

Otherwise, maybe you can grow the front a bit longer, so that it covers the parts where your hair is sparse.

http://www.geocities.com/calikaren/heath...

Personally, I'd be more attracted to a guy with hair and a receding hairline than a bald (or really short hair like you've described) one. I guess in the end though, whatever will make you feel more confident, because confidence is sexy! :)

Tricky Male Hair Advice Needed?

what if you tried leaving a little bit in just the front a little bit longer to where the curl or wave starts to show a little... put a little product in it to stiffen it upward - like a buzzcut with a little extra?

Also maybe try some subtle chops along with the super short haircut youre talking about. Thick chops are gross, but a little added scruffy some chicks dig that.

Tricky Male Hair Advice Needed?

If your hair line is receding quickly I'd go for a completely shaved look. I suggest going to a salon, and getting opinions of stylists, especially females. They know what they are looking for in a guy, and are great with hair.

Best of Luck

Major Hair Disaster..... Please Help!?

Ive got highlights put in my hair a few days ago and they have turned grey around my roots for a few inches then gradually turn a golden blonde to the tips. Ive got my natural light brown hair underneath.... it looks terrible!

I want to go back to brown as soon as possible! What can I do? Ive been wearing hats for the past few days, I'm so so so embarrassed.

Should I just buy a perminant brown hair dye and hope for the best? Thanks

Major Hair Disaster..... Please Help!?

yea if you did your highlights yourself, most likely something like that would happen. if you went to a hair dresser, dont go back to her. obviously shes not that good. go to a different hair dresser and ask if you can either dye your hair back to ur natural color. or if she can go over the highlights herself with a new blonde, or whatever color you got it.

Major Hair Disaster..... Please Help!?

Did you get the highlights done at a salon or do them yourself? Either way I would recommend you get it colored at a salon, because they will have the proper dye to cover up hair that has recently been dyed. And if they are the ones who did it, obviously something went wrong and they should be expected to fix it for free.

Major Hair Disaster..... Please Help!?

If you dont want to go back to the salon, buy a permanent dye slghtly darker than the brown you want, just to cover the highlights.

Major Hair Disaster..... Please Help!?

I would go back to the salon. If you put a box color on your highlights, this could go a funny colour and it wouldn't go the same colour as the rest of your head, so it could look patchy.

They obviously never mixed the colour right, go back and tell them to fix it or demand your money back and go somewhere else.

Good luck

Major Hair Disaster..... Please Help!?

sounds like there was too much ash tone in that colour (ash = grey/purple tones)...best thing to do is go bk to the salon and explain and ask for their advice. if they say its "ok" and wont do nething, go to another salon get a 2nd opinion...they may say you will need colour correction which involves using a toner to neutrilise the grey tones.

dont try it ur self as home kits dont always agree with professional dyes (metalic salts in the home kits can react badly to dye already in ur hair) and cud make the result worse.

Grey haired in A dream?

I had a dream that I had grey hair (I am just 29) and it was my mum who pointed this out to me in the dream! What does this mean?

Grey haired in A dream?

indicates that something important has just been made aware to you. It is a symbol of wisdom and insight. The dream may also be a metaphor suggesting that you are feeling "light-headed".

To see your mother in your dream, represents the nurturing aspect of your own character. Mothers offer shelter, comfort, life, guidance and protection. Some people may have problems freeing themselves from their mothers and are thus seeking their own individuality and development.

To dream that you are having a conversation with your mother, denotes a matter that has preoccupied your mind and you are not sure how to deal with it in your waking life. It indicates unresolved problems that still need to be worked out with your mother.

Grey haired in A dream?

Hmm... I would say that the grey hair maybe symbolises something in your life that you are worried about on a surface level, maybe something to do with appearances or behaviour... and the fact that your mum is pointing it out indicates that it is something to do with her... are you engaged in an activity at present that maybe you think she doesn't wholy approve of, or might seek to warn you about?

Grey haired in A dream?

Your mother represents the mother aspect of yourself. She is the loving, wise and nurturing aspect whom takes care of ourselves.

She pointed out to you that you need to pay attention to your insecurities/fears with regards to your higher spiritual center. It would help if I got a bit more information, like what did you really *feel* when you had gray hair. You didn't mention that you had positive or negative feelings towards it.

In real life, when people worry too much they get more gray hairs. I am sure that the origins of the insecurities/fears could be about something else if you really know what you feel it is about. Only you know.

If there were 20 Asians in a room, they look all the same because they all have black hair and brown

But if there were 20 Whites in a room, they look all different because they have brown, red, light blond, dirty blond hairs, and green, blue, hazel, grey, brown eyes.

Is that true that Asians look all the same but Whites look different?

If there were 20 Asians in a room, they look all the same because they all have black hair and brown eyes.?

NO it is just a-first-impression-matter. Have you ever thought that asians have just exactly the same idea about whites? (even if you count with different hair and eyes colors)

By the way I do not believe you are asian, otherwise you would have the difference pretty clear.

If there were 20 Asians in a room, they look all the same because they all have black hair and brown eyes.?

Is that why you think you are superior? Sad...

No Asians don't all look the same. What a racist comment to make!

If there were 20 Asians in a room, they look all the same because they all have black hair and brown eyes.?

No... I used to think the same about African Americans, but especially if you put them in a room together, you would start to realize that each person is an individual with their own personality and face structure,height,clothing...

If there were 20 Asians in a room, they look all the same because they all have black hair and brown eyes.?

I can tell quite a difference between different types of Asians; for example a Chinese person from a Thai person. Asians don't tend to dye their hair or color their eyes with contacts, so naturally dependng on taste, Whites would be more varied. Even in Sweden blondes are only 30 percent of the population, so without dye, blonde hair is a rarity and people would look much more alike.

If there were 20 Asians in a room, they look all the same because they all have black hair and brown eyes.?

i can uderstand wat u feel but it is not correct.u feel so coz u might be seeing asians rarely.just like u could distinguish bw 20 whites in d same manner even asians can distinguish bw 20 asians.it is true that people belonging to indian sub continent look very similar but then asians can distinguish bw the people of their own country on the basis of their states.

If there were 20 Asians in a room, they look all the same because they all have black hair and brown eyes.?

More like you don't have the wits to differenciate!

If there were 20 Asians in a room, they look all the same because they all have black hair and brown eyes.?

please. at first glance you could be green that you would just look like everybody else in a crowd. it's details that make all of us. it goes for white people aswell. if it bothers you so much, dye your hair too.

If there were 20 Asians in a room, they look all the same because they all have black hair and brown eyes.?

Yeah right! lol.....

other ethnicities also say that white ppl look alike you know! ha ha ha!

If there were 20 Asians in a room, they look all the same because they all have black hair and brown eyes.?

No, of course not. And besides, if (we) Asians look the same as what you say, what can you do about it? What you don't know won't kill you, so stick to that. Racists like you should really get a life!

My hair is so soft and breakable. But I want a thick, strong and lengthy hair.?

Why are some hairs growing crinkly ,twisted especially grey ones?

I guess grey is stonger! It really annoys me how they are wiry and crinkly - also, why do they always stick up or out making them REALLY obvious?!

Why are some hairs growing crinkly ,twisted especially grey ones?

Somebody is giving their age away, LOL.

Why are some hairs growing crinkly ,twisted especially grey ones?

I don't know but I have the same problem. I have the first signs of grey, and when I've done my hair there's always one sticking up like a corkscrew on top of my head, when all the others are sleek.

So annoying!

Why are some hairs growing crinkly ,twisted especially grey ones?

because it lacks pigmentation, grey hair is more coarse and drier than the other hair on your scalp..grey hair has a different biological structure than the other hairs on your scalp...which is why it will grow in wavy..and crinkly...it's genetics..and it's programmed to grow in differently.

Why are some hairs growing crinkly ,twisted especially grey ones?

they have no pigment therefore they are drier therefore coarser

Could my long, dry, curly hair benefit from "ethnic" hair care products?

I'm white, but sometimes I wonder if I'd do better with products made for African Americans. I've always had a problem with dry, thick, curly hair that frizzes at the slightest hint of humidity. I'm 40-something and also use a permanent hair color in my natural ash brown color every 4 wks to hide stubborn (and increasing!) grey hairs. As I get older, the hairs that come in grey are even more dry! Suggestions?

Could my long, dry, curly hair benefit from "ethnic" hair care products?

many things can dry your hair and make it frizz, like brushing your hair. I have curly hair and I only brush it about once a week, I use a comb or my fingers if I need to. And shampoos dry your hair out, especially really curly hair. It takes longer for the natural oils to reach the end of the hair and shampoo just washes it off. It would probably be a good idea to shampoo less often and simply use a conditioner on the ends of your hair, like the bottom half of your hair.

I would try using less shampoo before buying other products. But I think trying the products for african american hair styles would be good for your hair.

Could my long, dry, curly hair benefit from "ethnic" hair care products?

You could try hair mayo. Its great for dry hair.

Could my long, dry, curly hair benefit from "ethnic" hair care products?

use a standard hot oil treat ment and after care products for tinted or permed hair they are at the beuaty supply stores and ask a worker ther about it also if you know a beautician they will say the same thing

Could my long, dry, curly hair benefit from "ethnic" hair care products?

I'm no hair expert, but it seems like African American hair is generally pretty oily, even though it's brittle and thick. I imagine it would make your hair drier if you used it. I suggest using something for colored or heat damaged hair. Hope I helped!

Could my long, dry, curly hair benefit from "ethnic" hair care products?

African American hair needs alot of oil to protect it from the sun. Therefore any of those products would promote oil production. My friend's wife works in some kind of hair research and she tells me that shampoo strips away the outer membrane of your hair to let the nutrients in and you need to replace it by using conditioner. This is why people used to put egg or mayo in their hair. The protein builds that outer layer and promotes shine and strength.

Could my long, dry, curly hair benefit from "ethnic" hair care products?

I hear you seems to me that your hair is try all the time because from coloring day by week. that can dry it out making all your naturl oils in your hair go out of wake. I have curly hair too thats naturl. I think you need some condtion treatments in your hair to but back the oils you lots. You can always talk to the person that cuts your hair. they can give you some good tips from keeping your hair healthy and frizz free.

Good luck

Could my long, dry, curly hair benefit from "ethnic" hair care products?

I have naturally curly hair.I am over 40 and I let my hair go gray. A chemical straightener can tame frizz so that your hair is easier to style;I use Olgivie hair straightener, but would suggest that you go to a hair stylist if you can. Products made for Afircan American hair are also good, but stick to the no-lye brands like Gentle Treatment. Use moisturizing Shampoos and conditioners like those containing shea butter by Fredeic Fekkai. I also am going to give you the name of a book:Going Gray Looking Great by Diana Lewis Jewell. It has tips for people who dye their hair, too.I can't dye mine because I am allergic to dyes...but I look great!

Could my long, dry, curly hair benefit from "ethnic" hair care products?

I think you could try egg.

Could my long, dry, curly hair benefit from "ethnic" hair care products?

I am a hairdresser, and one awesome product is Sleek from Matrix. It is an orange bottle. It is so good you will never use another product again. I use the shampoo, conditioner and the wax polisher. The wax is great to use after you towel dry and style to smooth the frizz. Or use it in wet hair and let air dry. Remember the wax goes a long way. So does the conditioner, you will run out of the shampoo before the conditioner. Trust me you will love it.

Go to any Mastercuts salons and ask for it. They have buy one and get one half off sale going on through the end of May. Hurry!

Could my long, dry, curly hair benefit from "ethnic" hair care products?

i suggest VO5 hot oil treatment %26amp; other VO5 product it is for used by both races also try john freida frizz ease works great !!!!

Could my long, dry, curly hair benefit from "ethnic" hair care products?

Yes. I suggest you try Pantenes Relaxed and Natural Lines or Nuetrogena's Triple Moisture products. Most newer products for AA hair is very well formulated and provides moisture without weighing your hair down. Good luck.

I am going very grey and am only 34?

Have used just for men a few times and like the results,my missus dont mind the grey hair but i do,but every time i dye it people who know i was grey seem to have this need to keep questioning it and taking the piss, whats up with them? does it really matter that i dont wanna be bloody grey at 34??????

I am going very grey and am only 34?

I'm in the same boat too, and it's been going on since my late 20's. I use Nice and Easy 120.

I am going very grey and am only 34?

............... sexy man you are sexy .....................

I am going very grey and am only 34?

Be a man..use hair dye...don't use men's hair dye though..use women's hair dye..like clairol..yes I said women's..it will not damage your hair ,men's hair dye chemcials are too strong.

Good luck!

I am going very grey and am only 34?

It makes you look extinguished---- er, I mean distinguished.

I am going very grey and am only 34?

im 33 and have the odd grey hair. but my grey hair started coming through when i was only 28. i laugh it off and say its my grey highlights. there aint much you can do only do what your doing and dyeing it. george clooney is grey and what a sex bomb he is. grey hair on men is sexyyyy

I am going very grey and am only 34?

None of their business. Whatever makes you feel confident is exactly what you should be doing. Tell them to go piss up a rope *lol*.

But of course people are gonna ask questions. Everyone's a little nosy, and it's a curiosity to some people when men dye their hair (or for that matter, when anything about someone's appearance changes.) When your best buddy comes back from a vacation sporting a tan, gets a noticeably different haircut, or starts wearing Hawaiian shirts every day, you comment on it, don't you? Same thing.

Hey, by the way... most women I know (including myself) think gray hair is sexy... or at the very worst it makes no difference to them...

Look on the bright side: better gray than bald, no? hehehe

I am going very grey and am only 34?

Me, too.

I am going very grey and am only 34?

I started going grey at 16! At first I thought it was quite cool, but I didn't go grey evenly; I ended up with an almost pure white patch on top, and got fed up with people asking if I'd been decorating or walking near seagulls! So it was 'Just for men' from then on!

I am going very grey and am only 34?

first of all stop worrying a lot of ladies like the grey look the salt and pepper look i for 1 find it very sexy so stop the just for men and let it go grey naturally as people know anyway when u dye it if thats not acceptable shave it off completley as a lot of women like the bald look too ie grant michell ;-) good luck sexy never seen u but i have an image in my head ;-)

I am going very grey and am only 34?

WOW....TEL NUMBER? I LOVE GREY HAIR....

I am going very grey and am only 34?

Well darling just use a colour that is nearer to your tone and explain to your in-sensitive friends that it really upsets you when they take the piss or say well at least I am not going bald and then laugh and buy a beer. It really is not a big deal. And yes I agree use women's hair colour L'Oreal is very good.

I am going very grey and am only 34?

you dont look grey in your picture...... Dont worry i know a guy whos 25 and he has a full head of grey.... Its quite weird actually

I am going very grey and am only 34?

My hubby was really grey when we met and he was only 27 at the time. I am now 35 and going grey very rapidly and dying it like mad at the hairdresser to disguise it. Men tend to look fairly handsome when they are going grey for some reason whereas I just look tired and haggard. If you are happier dying it then do so. There will come a time and age - hopefully at least 20 years from now when you have to stop - don't go too dark though as it can look really obvious - and redder tones are more flattering to the complexion as we get older

I am going very grey and am only 34?

I wouldnt bother about whate everyone else thinks - esp if ur lady likes it

but if you want to dye it then do and ppl who take the piss obv arent your friends so ur better off not listening to them anyway! why not go to hairdressers and have them do it i know it costs more but they will be able to give you more natural complementing colours and also it will make you feel good about urself so you wont care what everyone thinks!

hope this gobbldygook helps! lol x

I am going very grey and am only 34?

It may seem like a big deal to you, but to others i really dont think its gonna make one jot of difference if you are going grey or not. Personally i think it makes a man look distinguished. If you keep colouring your hair, you will always have to keep it up becuase you are going to continue to go grey and im sure you dont want to look like David Guest when you are 50-ish! Grow older gracefully. its far more attractive. I know you may not like it, but its gonna happen regardless.

And dont let anyone poke fun at you. They are only pointing it out because one day they know its gonna happen to them.

My mother in law is in her early 50's but went grey when she was 18. she coloured her hair for years, but she looks far better with it natural!

be proud of who you are xxx

I am going very grey and am only 34?

You know, there's an old saying that goes,'When there's snow on the roof, there's a fire down below!' My personal opinion is that grey hair is very sexy!! But it's your feelings on the subject that matter-so I would suggest using women's hair colourings as they are kinder, can be multi-tonal (hence look more natural),and condition your hair nicely.

I am going very grey and am only 34?

its normal at that age to start going grey why care wot ather people say its wot your comfortable with that matters.

I am going very grey and am only 34?

I started going grey at 26,being a woman I naturally started dyeing my hair and did'nt get any remarks made about it,maybe it's because you are male your friends are taking the mickey, you do what you want,it's your hair and no one else's business

I am going very grey and am only 34?

hunni don't worry cause i know someone who went grey at 10 so it aint nuffin to wurri bout if you wanna change your hair colour then look around for hair dyes that are your natural hair colour it looks great and no one will know!

I am going very grey and am only 34?

I think your friends are in-sensitive u wait until they start going grey!! I think you should try using some of the womens products on your hair like nice and easy or something I think it gives you more effect that lasts and is not so obvious that everyone will notice as you have more choice in colours etc,

anyway sometimes a bit of salt and pepper looks good but don't worry I understand your fears after all your only 34!!!

I am going very grey and am only 34?

Hey there's nothing wrong with you dying your hair if you want to.

If people are commenting on it often..it's probably because you cannot get a good dye job with "just for men". The tones of color offered are too generic..you need to have it professionally done or buy the dye that is marketed towards the ladies. If you do this you will be able to find a more natural looking color that will not scream "I'M GREY AND I DYE MY HAIR".

If you can't afford salon dyed hair try your local beauty college it is alot cheaper and you can ask for a student with more experience!!!

I am going very grey and am only 34?

I recomend the following ---

Natural homemade remedies-apply Henna on hair / Do Hot oil massage, protien treatment and put fruit pack once in a week --- read all about it --

http://geebal.blogspot.com

I am going very grey and am only 34?

Do what suits you instinctively -- nothing wrong with grey, tho'!

I am going very grey and am only 34?

i think it is very distinguished! But, do whatever makes you feel better!

I am going very grey and am only 34?

im really lucky at 37 i dont have any,but a girl i was at school with had really black hair and started going grey when she was 14,her dad was exactly the same it is supposed to heredetry so i suppose you should just keep using just for men.

I am going very grey and am only 34?

Guys shouldn't dye their hair...grey hair on a man is soooooosexy! My guy has grey hair and he is HOT HOT HOT!!!

I am going very grey and am only 34?

Stop stressing all the time and relax a little, it won't gray so fast.

Why don't cats go grey with age?

As I looked in the mirror this morning I noticed a few color deprived strands of my hair standing on end - demanding my attention. I was starteled out of my daze when my 20 year old cat jumped onto the sink. 20 years is very old for a cat, but yet she shows not a single grey hair - what's her beauty secret? Why don't cats go grey?

Why don't cats go grey with age?

my 8 year old cat has not alot, but a few grey hairs on her fur.(and she's not even really that old!) so maybe your cat does have a beauty secret!

Why don't cats go grey with age?

Some cats do. My Siamese lilac points get darker with age.

Why don't cats go grey with age?

Because your cat is secretly coloring its fur?

Why don't cats go grey with age?

some do, my X mother in law had a siamese that did grow grey, she was 19 yrs old...But that was the only one I ever seen alive that old!

Why don't cats go grey with age?

Your cat may not ever get grey hair. If she is orange/brown/white her color may simply fade, or become lighter. Usually if cats get grey hair, I see it mostly around the face and chin. But if she only has a slight color fade, you may never notice, especially since it happens slowly over time.

Question about hair colour?

Hey there,

I am very fair skinned and have naturally dirty blonde hair. Right now I'm a brunette. I have grey/blue eyes. What colour of blond should I go... and I don't wanto go back to my plain ol'natural hair colour. In hair dressor terms my natural colour is a level 7 that is what I've heard them say.

What kind of highlights, or dementions could I get to?

What hair cuts are hot right now too, if I was to get it styled?

If you can relate the hair colour you think is best, to a celebretly and add a link that would be great for a visual.

Thanks

Question about hair colour?

with your description of urself I would probably go with a lighter blonde or a goldish one with dirty blonde highlights. My friend got that and her hair layered and it looks awesome. Hope that helps!

Question about hair colour?

shoulder length but the bangs parted and short......blonde strikes

Question about hair colour?

i work at a salon and i would say that you have the proper skin tone (sounds like) and eyes to go pretty blonde, platnium if you even wanted, if you like warmth ask for it if not avoid it. stick with blonde tone highlights and lo lights to avoid looking washed out!

a very hot do for hair cuts right now are bobs. it all depends on your head shape, also side swept bangs are always a do!

Question about hair colour?

u should get a cut that compliments ur face shape. (go on ask.com, or ivillage.com and search face shapes and see what urs is, from there u can try a haircut that really compliments ur features: try cosmopolitan virtual makeover) (short pixie shags are in right now!)

As far as color try maybe a medium auburn color (not to red, not to brown) U could even keep ur hair the color it is and put blond highlights in it if u don't want to have a drastic change.

Question about hair colour?

gold blondish

Hair colouring?

At the age of 44 I have noticed several 'grey hairs'. Is there any natural products that will wash out that I can use to disguise the grey %26amp; colour my hair without having to wait for it to grow out %26amp; most importantly do so without damaging my hair.

Hair colouring?

try roux fanci-full mousses, they wash out so you will need to apply everyday but you just apply them like you would any other hair mousse so there are no chemicals and no faffing around: http://www.haircareusa.com/roux_color_mo...

Hair colouring?

use arnica hair oil by wellman's which gives natural colour to ur hair

Hair colouring?

There are colouring "mousses" that you can use temporary - as to using natural products I used to use natural hennas - they are a little more permanent but it is all organic and is a great conditioner - do not know where you can buy them now though - maybe a health shop - used them for years before changing to permanent hair colouring as I was going too grey !!

Hair colouring?

it depends on the colour of your hair, if your fair headed you could use lemon juice, my mother is 43 and had greys for a while and this has helped for a long time, but sometimes she finds it hard and likes to have blond highlights which takes alot of the Grey out of the hair...

good luck, but when in doubt as a professional

Can black hair dye, make your hair fall out?

I'm 21 years old and I have couple of grey hairs. My hair has a natural dark brown and I dye my hair with black hair color.

My hair is pretty thick. Usually when I wash my hair I can count to about 20-25 strans of hair that I can see in the sink. Is this something I should worry about?

(I also use "got 2 b glue" gel. its tough gel, but it does wash out.)

Can black hair dye, make your hair fall out?

Dye cannot make your hair fall out at the root and your hair loss is normal. You might have breakage if you dye it a lot. I would suggest Natural Instincts if you don't have a lot of gray. It is easier on your hair

Can black hair dye, make your hair fall out?

Up until recently i had been dying my hair black for about 7 years (i decided to change colours). I have normal strand loss. It is said you can lose anywhere up to 100-120 hairs a day from sleep, shampooing, brushing it.

Can black hair dye, make your hair fall out?

A few gray hairs are nothing to worry about at 21. They're most likely not noticeable. However, hair dye will not make your hair fall out unless you leave it on waaaay too long or if you continue to dye it and don't take care of your hair. I, too, have a loooot of hair and it's really thick, and when it falls out it only means that your hair is growing. So that's nothing to worry about. If you are going to continue to dye your hair, do it every four to six weeks and take good care of your hair in between those. Use a shampoo for color-treated or damaged hair; it will keep your hair hydrated. Use a deep conditioner if you have to. Use girly products if you really want to get a good effect.

Know of a hair dye without horrid chemicals that works?

My hair is so overdyed. I can't bear to see my roots as I have a few grey hairs, so I dye it every month. (I'm afraid to say I use whatever's on offer, or the cheapest, that covers grey.) There must be a natural dye that actually works and doesn't use peroxide or ammonia. (I'm aware of the risk of cancer from commercial hair dyes too.) Can anyone help?

Know of a hair dye without horrid chemicals that works?

How about henna or going to your local health shop and seeing what they can recommend to you?

Know of a hair dye without horrid chemicals that works?

Henna shampoo is quite good for "tinting" hair

Know of a hair dye without horrid chemicals that works?

I use colorflirt by herbel essences because it has no harsh chemicals and smells great. It is also temporary and lasts about 8 to 10 shampoos but is worth it and costs very little. It also makes it possible to change your hair color very easily. I used it to dye my hair red before. It was great.

Know of a hair dye without horrid chemicals that works?

Heey! Caroline is right, I have the same problem with my hair, but i use henna, and it help my hair a lot, and it keeps it healthy!!=D

Good luck!

Know of a hair dye without horrid chemicals that works?

Someone I know has a very sensitive scalp that flares up whenever she has her hair dyed using traditional products. On her last trip to Asia, she was introduced to a product based on squid ink, which not only works better to cover her gray hair, but also doesn't irritate her scalp. I don't know what the name of the product is, or whether it contains the chemicals that you're concerned about, but maybe it might be what you're looking for. Try a search on Google for "squid ink hair dye" or something similar.

Note - I *think* the only available color is black.

Know of a hair dye without horrid chemicals that works?

Henna.

Applying it is a bit messy and smelly though, rather like smoothing a fresh, hot, green-tinted cow-pat onto your head, but it is healthy and wholesome and lasts a long time between applications.

Know of a hair dye without horrid chemicals that works?

I use the Natural Instincts or the Herbal Essences products when I do it myself. They don't have ammonia or peroxide.

Know of a hair dye without horrid chemicals that works?

Agree with others that Henna is a good healthy alternative but be careful with color choice since it colors gray hair differently and be sure to do a test strand preferably on the gray hairs to see the color it creates-for example, red henna can turn gray hair bright gold-this may or may not be the effect you want. You can find a 2 step henna as well that has a pretreat for gray. There are other herbal hair colors-check my blog for more information or my book "Beauty and the Budget" (a link to it also in my blog):

http://www.beautyandthebudget.blogspot.c...

Know of a hair dye without horrid chemicals that works?

Be very careful with henna if you have grey roots, it turns grey hair bright orange! Do you have an Aveda near you or check out their website. All their dyes and products are completely natural and plant based.

Know of a hair dye without horrid chemicals that works?

You can try a semi permanent color that uses less peroxide. Peroxide is what cause the damage when coloring hair. Their are semi colors that last as long as permanent colors and cover gray. The semi colors are high in shine which make your hair appear more healthy. I suggest talking to your hairdresser.

What makeup and hair style for dance?

What should I do for my 8th grade grad dance? I have a black dress that has some white in it and it cuts off at my knees. I have light/medium skin. I have bluish/green/grey eyes, and long dark blonde or light brown hair that's pretty thick and naturally kind of wavy and curly. I can get my hair cut and styled.

What should i do for hair and makeup?

What makeup and hair style for dance?

Do you straiten your hair every? If not then do it!!!!

Or

You could play up your curls EVEN MORE and ...

ALSO you could put you hair in a side pony if your hair is long enough.

Not like a high one just one right behind your ear!

Also you should keep you makeup VERY Naturl...NO colored eye shadows or nything like that. Wear mabe a light pink or golden shadow.

Also wear BLACK Masqura so your eyes will POP!!!! LOL

NOTHING much more...Wear a clear lip gloss and you will be SMOKING HOTT!!!!! YEAH BABY!!!!!!

LOL...

HAVE FUN!!! I LOVE DANCES!!!!

What makeup and hair style for dance?

up in banana curls with a poof in the front and for your makeup i think a lavendar eye shadow would be pretty or a deep purple eye

What makeup and hair style for dance?

you should wear the sides of your hair up and the rest curled or put gel in it and leave it naturally wavy/curly and for your makeup wear eyeshaddow or eyeliner that brings out your eyes like a greyish or greenish color.

What makeup and hair style for dance?

as a guy, i think many guys are attracted by sexy mini skirts and very small tops that look like a hand towel in a hotel,

but i think u should wear something which isnt sending any messages, for example a long dress would send a message, a short skirt is sending a message and we all know what it is, but maybe a dark trousers with a shirt, or a beach style dress with straight hair.. its very cool, and sending a cute message,

What makeup and hair style for dance?

I think you should go and get your hair straightened with a hair straightener. For makeup find your right color for foundation and use pink eyeshadow and black eyeliner. If your hair is light i would use clear mascara because if you use black mascara it would stick out alot.

What makeup and hair style for dance?

however u do ur hair or makeup..ur gonna sweat it off...so i wouldnt spend too much money on it....i would just have it down straight..or if u want a lil curl....makeup is always fun to go crazy !!

have fun!!

What makeup and hair style for dance?

I think your hair should stay curly and for makeup, green eyeshadow. And black eyeliner...Have fun!!

What makeup and hair style for dance?

i think you should use some navy eyshadow withh black eyliner to show off the color.mascara. foundation and bronzing. a good peachy pink lip

Do loose curls for your hair and you are set!

What makeup and hair style for dance?

I love grey eyeshadow on blue eyes( mien are blue). Lotso f mascara(black) and maybe some sparkles.

Pull back the frunt of your hair(the very frotn) into a miny pony on the top of oyur hair. Or do a high ponytail with a ribbon. Tame oyur hair a bit and pull the front back in two pretty clips. Do a frech twist.

What makeup and hair style for dance?

Whatever you do to your hair often then i would stray away from if your hair is wavy and a little curly then i would say maybe getting it styled and flipped out at the end

also you can never go wrong with really pretty and neat ringlets like in half up and half down but just make sure that its not a hair style thats going to be a hassle the whole night

Does anyone know or use/have used BIGEN hair colourant? if so does it work on already coloured hair?

the question pretty much explains it.

bigen is a natural hair colorant, very similair to henna, but it's japanese. its for colouring grey hair, but i want to know if it will colour already coloured hair, without grey hairs?

i want to dye it blue/black. my hair is very dark brown, because i dyed it with semi-permanent coulour about 3 months ago.

please help,

i really do need to know this.

Does anyone know or use/have used BIGEN hair colourant? if so does it work on already coloured hair?

Yes actually my dad used to use Bigen hair dye for many years. It is a chemical dye and of course I am not one to recommend chemical dye especially for the long term damaging, and drying affects when you can easily to do it naturally with herbal powders.

But no Bigen is not natural, if you read the ingredients it will say it contains PPD, which is a black hair dye found in most other chemical hair dyes. Henna is 100% natural as long as you get pure body art quality henna powder, and then you can use that along with your chemically treated hair safely without damage.

Another thing is the marketplace of the stores always mislabel henna products. Because if it is supposed to be so natural how can they sell you "henna colors"? Henna is a plant that grows in very hot countries and it only makes one color which is reddish-brown tones. It only makes sense that a plant can only produce one color not a variety of colors, UNLESS it is mixed with other herbs or chemicals.

What I recommend for you is for blue-black tones you can use indigo which is a natural plant that dyes that color but first you need to apply henna powder so that it helps the indigo bind to your hair strand. This would be perfect for you and you will also get strong, soft and shiny hair.

You can't go wrong with that!

Does anyone know or use/have used BIGEN hair colourant? if so does it work on already coloured hair?

thanks! Report It

How should i do my hair and makeup for this dance?

Out of those three, the middle one is very pretty.

How should i do my hair and makeup for this dance?

I love all three, but I would go with the third one, something different!

For makeup, maybe try red, light green, or brown eyeshadow.

For lipstick and gloss, dark red.

For blush, dark pink.

If mascara, waterproof kind!

I would advise against eyeliner, but if you want to use it, go for it!

I have black hair, but WOULD like to have a little grey to make me look older. Anyone have any ideas

Why not add red or brown streaks instead? It'd look alot better.Wait until you're actually old enough to get gray naturally, please? But if you really must, just go to a salon.

I have black hair, but WOULD like to have a little grey to make me look older. Anyone have any ideas?

Have children.

I have black hair, but WOULD like to have a little grey to make me look older. Anyone have any ideas?

baby sit a couple two year olds for a few hours...

Or, how about changing your hair STYLE? I'd go to a unbiased professional for the advice. Maybe even a few of them. You could take your own picture and photoshop different hairstyles to see what you think. And actually there are some hair stylist that have a program that does that in their salon.

Good luck. Or, if all else fails, have you considered liquid white out. I think you will find that grey hair won't make you THAT much older.

My hubby has a young face and very dark hair with some grey starting to come thru..but it's not that noticable.

I have black hair, but WOULD like to have a little grey to make me look older. Anyone have any ideas?

you look older by wearing more makeup but um grey will make you yuck

I have black hair, but WOULD like to have a little grey to make me look older. Anyone have any ideas?

well dark hair does look fake when you're older, however i wouldn't go gray...you should probably just go for a lighter shade of brown

Buy Garnier Fructis hair care products. They are great. If you go to garnerfructisusa.com and explore the website, you'll find some stuff that will help your hair. Take the ''Hair Quiz'' while you're there. I hope this helped. You can also try Pantene.

My hair is extremely dry n i have got lot of dry n flaky dandruff, i jus dont understand what to do?

u should trim off the ends and start using head and shoulders or selsun blueor both

My hair is extremely dry n i have got lot of dry n flaky dandruff, i jus dont understand what to do?

Ooooh, that sounds yucky! You should try Head and shoulders. It makes your hair unbelievably silky and smooth. if that doesn't help, then you may have a medical hair problem called "traction alopecia ." Traction alopecia is hair loss that is caused by long term hair pulling and breakage due to very tight ponytail, hair weaves and cornrows. Depending on the stage that the hair loss caused by Traction Alopecia has reached, it is possible to grow some hair back and stop any further hair loss as long as no further tension is applied to the areas.Very often traction alopecia is not reversible because the follicle is destroyed. You may want to see a hair specialist...good luck

use head and sholder men

If it's dry you need to trim it. I had dandruff while using head and shoulders and the best advice I have is to switch shampoos every once in awhile. This will minimize dandruff. Also, sometimes if you use water that is too hot it can cause dandruff.

My hair is extremely dry n i have got lot of dry n flaky dandruff, i jus dont understand what to do?

Okay you should cut your hairs frist. If they are really long cut it up to your shoulders, then oil your hairs with Vatika hair oil or any hair oil, then get lemon and scurb it on your hairs.Note that you can get a cold by doing this if the weather isn't freezing cold or rainy then you should do this otherwise don't do it.After you do this wash your hairs hope this works good luck.

Can I dye over dyed hair instead of just doing the regrowth?

I dyed my hair 6 weeks ago just to dye some grey strands (very easy %26amp; just had to massage through). Now I need to just do some regrowth touchup but can I just dye my all hair again? What would happen if I just reapply dark brown hair dye over my previous dark brown hairdye done 6 weeks ago?

Thanks in advance!

Can I dye over dyed hair instead of just doing the regrowth?

Yes, you can. It will be whatever color the dye is. You shouldn't be able to tell a difference between new growth and other hair.

Can I dye over dyed hair instead of just doing the regrowth?

yeah i dont think there's really any problem at all just doing it all black again. i help my mom do her hair and we just dye it all over, nothing wrong with it.

Can I dye over dyed hair instead of just doing the regrowth?

Nothing really bad will happen. If anything you may have had some fading with your previous color. Yo can do the touch up and process for the recommended time (per manufacterer's instructions) and pull the color through to the rest of your hair for the last 7-10 minutes or so, just to refresh your previous color.

Can I dye over dyed hair instead of just doing the regrowth?

well it depends on how ur hair does with the chemicals, it could cause splitt ends, basically dry out your hair, but since my hair has a lot of oils in it, i can dye it a lot and its fine, but i think it depends on how harsh the chemicals are that are in the hair dye, bleach is really harsh, and i dont know if grays are any different, b/c arent gray hairs really wiry? so i think u can try it, but if it gets dried out, u can do a hot oil treatment or leave-in conditioners. i hope i helped u

Can I dye over dyed hair instead of just doing the regrowth?

dyed hair is hard to dye again. the pores in your hair just soaked in the dye and it won't be likely to absorb more of it. trust me; i've tried to dye over dyed hair and it just washes out. why don't you just touch up the roots? if you want to dye your whole head over again, i'd wait at least another month before your hair is ready to absorb more chemicals. if you do it now, most likely you'll just damage your hair even more without gaining much more color.

Can I dye over dyed hair instead of just doing the regrowth?

you should mainly concintrate on the new growth. but if you want to also run the color through the ends (preferibley at the end duration of the time it takes to process) then thats ok. i say this because if you leave it on the whole time every time then your just over processing your hair more than needed. but for refeshing your ends thats ok,. i would delute it with water for the ends though.

poor credit
