L'oreal extra light ash blonde on bleached blonde hair?

hi, my hair is bleached blonde and it's kind of yellow, it's not light enough to be washing with shimmer lights so the other day i bought l'oreal extra light ash blonde hair dye to put over it.. now i've been reading that ash blonde dye turns your hair tinted grey? i definitely do not want grey hair.. does anyone have any experience with this dye over bleached blonde hair? please share, if not i'm going to return it and get another dye i guess...

i use the xtra lgt on bleached hair, looks great and shimmery and a darker blonde

but my bleached hair is not yellow, its whiter

My friend was in the same boat and it did give her hair a greenish/grey cast.

If you want your hair to look less yellow, try a purple toner (I know it sounds weird, but it works) A purple toner will make your hair more icy/platinum and less golden/yellow.

If you think it's not light enough, simply buy powdered bleach and developer from a beauty supply store and THEN tone it.

I use clairol ultra light blonde#87 and when my hair gets too yellow or orange looking, i just shampoo my hair with a toner shampoo(blue=for blondes) and it takes the yellow/orange tint out and leaves it just blonde, works great and you do not have to do it everyday as toner shampoo is very drying,use once a week or less depending on how the color looks.
