off than I had asked, anyway when I got home I noticed you could see a few grey strands on top so I went and bought colorsilk strawberry blonde, my hair is naturally light brown, well the color is as described only it's a little too bright, is there anything I can do to tone the color down? I am 40, I should have just left the little grey I had in and waited to have it done professionally any advice much appreciated, Happy New Year!!

Sallys Beauty carries some toner. And I have seen something at Walmart by Revlon or Loreal that takes the brassiness out. That could possibly work, it also has extra shine. I color my hair all the time, Im 42 with short hair, its my little adventure! Have fun...Happy New Year!

If strawberry blonde is too much, try the other way, A Medium Ash Blonde, but stay away from the light blondes or you may end up looking a little tacky.

For one, If she cut off more than you wanted time to find a different hair dresser. Second, GO TO A PROFESSIONAL!!!! Like they say... STORE BOUGHT COLOR IS LIKE A BOX OF CHOCOLATE, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOUR GOING TO GET!!!!
