Best hair cut for round face?

I'm trying to grow my bangs out as my face is sooo round, but without bangs I look weird.

Any suggestions what kind of haircut to get, it's past shoulder lenght and my layers have grown out.

Also how can I make hair look thicker? My natural haircolour is a dark grey/brown. I'm 25. Thanks for your comments.

*For a round face, hair cut into steps, make the face look less fuller and also adds volume to hair ; thereby making them look /appear thicker !!!!!!!!!!

Round Your best bet are styles that fall right below your chin or add a little volume on top. Soft, graduated layers are also a great bet because they make your face appear slimmer and tend to remove bulk and weight from the sides. Bangs are flattering, but keep them long or sideswept. Go for wispy and tapered ends. These de-emphasize the roundness of your face. For more information, check out this photo gallery of best hairstyles for round face shapes.

Celebs who share your face shape: Fergie, Kate Bosworth, Oprah Winfrey, Cameron Diaz, Kirsten Dunst, Michelle Williams, Catherine Zeta-Jones

Avoid: One-length, blunt cuts if you have short hair. These only emphasize your round face.

Tools you need: A great Boar's Hair brush to keep hair tame.

I agree with the first post. Try posting your question in a better suited category so you can get professionals to give you advice. Whatever you choose to do, do not cut your hair short. It will make your face look fatter. Have you tried angling your hair around your face and putting a lot of layers in it. I don't really know what can be done to make it thicker except putting layers in it. I have very thin hair as well and layers really don't seem to do much at all, but I haven't found anything that works. There are also many make-up techniques that you can use to create the illusion of a less-round (if that makes sense) face. Best advice...Post in Beauty %26amp; Style, either general or under "Hair". Goodluck

You should go for a just-past-the-shoulder length cut with tons of messy layers. The layers, if done right, add tons of volume. Try to get layers under, so that you can't see them as much. That works wonderfully without making your hair seem to wild. You may also want to try volumizing products such as that new sunsilk stuff (in the yellow), or a good, light mousse.

Just don't cut your hair to your chin or shorter. That will emphasize the roundness of your head. You may also want to avoid keeping it more than a couple of inches below the shoulder, lest the weight of the hair affect the layering.

Good luck!

Long sidebangs (NOT straight across thick ones, but lighter sideswept ones) combined with a soft layered haircut (not harsh thick layers) that hits your cheekbones flatters a round face. You might be able to find some ideas on beauty.com ... good luck!

I usually do not like Yahoo閳ユ獨 About.com because they give such terrible info on vegetarianism, but here is a list of the best and worst 10 hair cuts for round faces (with pics), so hopefully the site will help.

If you look weird without bangs, then why would you want to grow them out?

I have bangs too, and I know how it feels to get totally sick of them. So...what I do is change them up... there are a million different types of bangs... thin bangs, thick, straight, choppy, long, short... side swept, flat, curly... play with your bangs and see all the different things that can be done with them.

For the round face, I would keep your hair at about shoulder length, as too long will make your face look even rounder, as will too short. Face framing layers are good for making an effect of a more oval shape. Shaggy hair is really in style right now, so if you do a shoulder length multi layer cut, have them do it with a razor. Very fun trendy look!
